Technology, though created through Cain’s lineage, helps to ease the basic struggles of life. It is not and cannot be a true substitute for God. If we rely wholly on technology, we become less and less human. If we rely on God, we become fully human.
Another point, we become what we consume. We adopt the values of what we pay attention to.
If we consume media which pushes a certain ideology, we adopt those values. Free will is our ability to choose what we consume. And whether we dine with devils or feast on Christ is the question of our times.
